"Customs for the Kid" Celebrates 6 Years of Blogging

Another year behind us. It is hard to believe that we have been writing this blog for so long now. Thursday marked the six year anniversary of "Customs for the Kid". Here at home, we still can't believe we have accomplished as much as we have during these years. Our collection is ever growing, new artists are still being added to our archives, and we are still making Star Wars custom action figures every chance we get. To think, at our start, we only received about 50 views a month, and now we can get twenty times that in just a day. Audience growth has been a slow and steady climb, but from what we can tell, we have been able to maintain our audience while continually adding new viewers. We can't thank you enough for all your interest in what we do. We hope we will be here for many years to come, and that all of you will be right here with us.

"Customs for the Kid" has now been read in more than 125 countries throughout the world. We really enjoy our visits from: Tunisia, Jordan, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Czechia, Egypt, China, South Africa, Austria, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Qatar, Luxembourg, Russia, Guatemala, Bulgaria, India, Israel, Portugal, Netherlands, Isle of Man, Canada, Belgium, Mauritius, South Korea, Togo, Kuwait, Brazil, Finland, Latvia, Mexico, Ukraine, Italy, Colombia, New Caledonia, Malaysia, Zimbabwe, New Zealand, Germany, Indonesia, Honduras, Czech Republic, France, Taiwan, Gabon, Serbia, Nigeria, Venezuela, Australia, Chile, Denmark, Spain, Thailand, Croatia, Mozambique, Japan, Hungary, Peru, Guam, Iran, Philippines, Norway, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Macau, Brunei, Romania, Lebanon, Iceland, Argentina, Poland, Puerto Rico, Macedonia, Pakistan, Georgia, Belize, Ireland, Algeria, Moldova, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Panama, Syria, Malta, Uruguay, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates, Bolivia, Greece, Jamaica, Turkey, Belarus, Cuba, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Dominican Republic, Slovenia, Afghanistan, Cameroon, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Guernsey, Bangladesh, El Salvador, Myanmar [Burma], Vietnam, Aruba, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad, Tobago, Azerbaijan, Côte d’Ivoire, Montenegro, Nicaragua, Armenia, Morocco, French Polynesia, Cape Verde, Cyprus and here in the United States. Brad Harris Added to "Customs I Wish I Owned"

With 3-D printing now becoming more and more popular, Star Wars fans are quickly approaching a new golden era where artists can manufacture their own custom toy designs and make them look just as good as the large manufacturers.

One of these artists, Industrial Designer Brad Harris, has had some of his work make the rounds on some Star Wars fan sites recently and for good reason.  His designs and execution were just top notch!  Not only did he create some pretty awesome additions to any Star Wars collection, but he even took the time to do the packaging for his creations.  Harris is definitely a designer we'd love to see working for Hasbro in the near future.  The Krayt Dragon, Rathtar, Rancor, and TIE Defender he produced are some must see designs!  I don't know about you, but I will be bookmarking his webpage to see what else this amazing artist will produce.  I envy his skills!
