"MAUL MANDOS" created by Darth Daddy

This latest post is showing how a quick repaint of some Clone Wars Death Watch Mandalorian Warriors that came with the Mandalorian Speeder from Hasbro's mini-rig line can offer up some pretty cool looking Maul Mandos.  The project is an easy way to add a few Maul Mandos to your Clone Wars collection.  The articulation on these figures is just phenomenal...especially, at the ball jointed wrists and hips!

These figures also really complement our Clone Wars Darth Maul and the Mandalorian Super Commando custom action figures created by Peakob1 Custom Creations

Savage Opress Robot Arm

Dad was talking to Star Wars customizer Peakob1 today and he told Dad that if he watched the Clone Wars Season 5 trailer real closely that he would see Savage Opress has a robotic arm in this season.  We're curious to see how Savage loses it, and if a custom of this version of Opress will ever be made.  At least I know what I'm going to do with my extra action figure of him when I get the Target Exclusive 3-pack with Darth Maul and the Nightsister.

Dad still has to sculpt the upper arm to complete the figure.  We're waiting for the "Eminence" episode in Season 5 so we can get a better view of the new arm and correct anything we need to on the forearm also.

BROTHERS

Dad threw these two action figures together in seconds after watching the season finale of Clone Wars Season 4. He used the head from an extra Vintage Darth Maul we had on the body of the Infinities Maul from the exclusive comic pack. No modification was needed on the head and it can help you all recreate the final battle scene until a proper release is issued later this year. Since the body was the only one we had, Dad stopped short of doing anything else to the figure.

Dad also cut the horn on the head of an extra Savage Opress that we had so he looked like he did in the latest story arc. Pretty much a no brainer.

If you were wondering if it were possible to do a head swap the answer is yes. It's a little snug, but with a minimal amount of Force, it fits. No tooling needed.

Dad used the ball jointed hips and upper legs of a Vintage Kit Fisto to articulate the Savage Opress further and make him so he can now do a full split. A tip he received from Stronox.

Dad cut off the horn with a razor blade.

Later on Dad is going to give him articulated ankles too.
